tuve un choque hace 5 días. I basically got rear ended by a car while i was stopped; he wasn't paying attention. luckily i drive and SUV...so the damages to my car were slight...a little bit of denting to my bumper...the other car was fucked...completely totaled.

In times when the price of gas has risen like 100% in a year i had been kinda pissed that i own an SUV...but this incident completely made up for it. that and I was able to squeeze 4 people and 5 longboards into my car a couple days ago. So as much as it sucks to be less environmentally friendly I think for now I'll gladly suffer for my safety and convenience. Also if you think about it we would have had to take multiple cars to the beach the other day instead of just one...so sometimes the SUV is actually the more environmental choice.

I'm going to be having a collaborative show with my girlfriend Caitlin O'Connor next week! some new paintings...which will eventually be posted...and a really great installation piece by Caitlin...it'll be a fun show, I'm excited.

anyways, this friday is the much anticipated Sun God Festival at my university...I'm going to be wearing my drunk face all day long!!! also friends and I are dressing up as revenge of the nerds!
